This is an important occasion for all Year 11 students, they will receive the results of their PPE's and also will be given guidance on how to enhance their performance in the summer through advice and guidance, and future intervention programmes.
Students will have had a series of Pre-Public Exams (PPE) in all subjects in November, an experience designed to replicate the actual exams in May/June. On January 17th, similar to results day on August 23rd, they will receive an examination results envelope in the Sixth Form Common Room between 5.00 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.
Heads of House will also be in the Sixth Form Common Room between 5.00 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. to issue updated autumn assessments and be available for any parental concerns relating to students welfare and progress. Parents are encouraged to collect the PPE results and assessments and then see subject staff for feedback on student progress. Mr Cloherty will also be available to offer support information and guidance on Careers and Sixth Form.
From 5.15pm, most subject staff will be based in the Main Hall and Canteen area. Modern Languages staff will be on the stage and Science staff will be in rooms E3 and E4, next to the Hall.
